Corrugated Cardboard Types

Corrugated cardboard is the product obtained by placing one or more corrugated layers between flat layers.

A standard single wave cardboard consists of three basic parts;

High quality liner forming the printing surface is used as the outer paper.

As intermediate corrugated paper, fluting paper, which can gain corrugated form when heated and maintain its form when cooled, is used, which has a rigid structure.

The inner paper, on the other hand, is not very important aesthetically, as it is usually not visible on the inner surface. It can be kraft liner, testliner or fluting paper according to the desired strength.

In addition to single-wave corrugated cardboard, double-wave and triple-wave corrugated cardboard are also produced.

Corrugated cardboard differs according to the number of layers, as well as the structure of the waves.

Boxes obtained from corrugated cardboard are the most widely used packaging material, and they are the packaging that protects, carries and helps to sell the product inside.
